Please Touch and Play: an Early Childhood Exploration happens every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 10:30-11:30am. Drop in with your youngest artists to play and explore!

No registration is required.

Christi Ryan uses decades of teaching experience and an upbeat attitude to get you moving! No experience necessary. Modifications available for all physical ability levels. Let’s dance!

Cost is $10/session. Please pay at the door. Adults only please. Class will be held Thursday, March 27th.

Christine Worley teaches ages 8 and up drawing using a variety of mediums. Each class is $10. Classes will be 3:30 to 4:30pm. If school is canceled, class is canceled.

Candle Making Class.png

Please join us as Kitt Latsch from Of Curious Nature Candles teaches two separate workshops! Choose your favorite fragrance, then measure, mix, and pour your very own candle!

Class will be held on Wednesday, March 19th. The first time slot is 11am-1pm, and the second time slot is 6:30pm-8pm. There are 12 spots available for each class.

All materials are provided for two candles. Class is $35 per person.

Brittney Zellar teaches you to create your own custom charcuterie box, complete with a paring knife, honey jar, honey stick, and utensils to take home. Learn knife skills and style hacks while exploring the history of charcuterie and DISCOVERING perfect pairings of meats, cheeses, fruits and more!

Join us for Kids Create! A Schoolcraft County Children's Art Show!

A reception for the children will be held Thursday, March 13th from 5-7pm.

The show will be available for the public to view Saturday, March 8th and 15th from 11am to 3pm.

Lake Effect Community Art Center hosts the Manistique Makers Market that happens outdoors once a month during the summer! All downtown, right next to our lovely building.

Music in Manistique

Music in Manistique is a beloved outdoor summer concert series. It is funded through the generosity of businesses in our community. Bring a chair or sit on the lawn for a delightful summer activity.

Acoustic Jam Sessions

Acoustic Jam Sessions are taking a break for the season! See you in the spring!

During the summer and fall stop down every 1st and 3rd Thursday for Acoustic Jam Sessions! From 6-9pm enjoy live music, fun, and friendship. All are welcome to play or attend.
