Lake Effect Community Arts Center is proud to present Making Space!

This hands-on art class offers a quiet, structured space to rest and reflect through simple materials and thoughtful prompts. No art experience is required, and there is no expectation to share or create a finished piece.
​
The focus is on process rather than outcome. Together, we'll explore reflection, creative experimentation, and care, with the hope that you leave feeling a little lighter and more grounded.
​
Please join us the first four Tuesdays in March--March 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, from 6:30-8pm.
Cost is $30 per session, or $100 for all four.
All participants must be 18+
All materials provided
Lake Effect Community Arts Center is proud to present Beaded Suncatcher Class!
​
Join us Saturday, March 14th from 1-3pm as Mollie Larson teaches us to bead a Tree of Life suncatcher. We will learn hand wiring and beading techniques. This class is for teens and adults. All materials are provided. Cost is $40 per participant.

Lake Effect Community Arts Center is open Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-2pm. Stop in to use our space to take a walk without worrying about the cold, ice, and slush.
Makers Market
Lake Effect Community Art Center hosts the Manistique Makers Market that happens outdoors from 10am to 3pm once a month during the summer! All downtown, right next to our lovely building.
We also host two indoor Market's--Ladies Night, and Small Business Saturday! ​​

Acoustic Jam Sessions
During the summer and fall stop down every 1st and 3rd Thursday for Acoustic Jam Sessions! From 6-9pm enjoy live music, fun, and friendship. All are welcome to play or attend.
