Lake Effect Community Arts Center is proud to present Wild and Whimsical featuring paintings by Avery Graham and Paper Mache by Steve Wirtz.

Please join us for our opening reception Saturday, June 6th from 1-3pm.

Steve Wirtz will be our Artist-in-Residence with demonstrations and workshops the first week of June.

Wild and Whimsical will be available to view Monday-Saturdays from 11am-4pm June 2nd-27th. ​

Lake Effect Community Arts Center is proud to present Fused Glass Workshop with Beth Cox!
​
During this class, Beth will explain how to arrange glass to create a one-of-a-kind suncatcher, ornament, jewelry, and more.
​
Class will be held Monday, June 15th from 6-8pm. Cost is $60 per person and is limited to 12 people.

This class is for beginners. All materials are provided.

Lake Effect Community Arts Center is proud to present Copper Wire Gem Tree Class with Mollie Larsen!
​
During this class, Mollie will explain how to wrap copper wire around a rock and into a tree shape, using gems as leaves.
​
Class will be held Monday, June 22nd from 6-8pm. Cost is $40 per person and is limited to 12 people.
​
This class is for beginners. All materials are provided.
Lake Effect Community Arts Center is proud to present Kids Summer Art Camp with Kelsy Gonyea and Christine Worley!
​
Please join us for three days of fun, curiosity, and creation as we explore different mediums and how they interact with the world around us.
​
There are three sessions available. Art and Fantasy Worlds from June 24-26th, Travel Through Art from July 15-17th, and Mexican Folk Art from August 5-7th.
​
|Kids going into 1st-4th grades may join us from 9-11am. Kids going into 5th-8th grades may join us from 1-3pm. Cost is $50 per child per week.

Acoustic Jam Sessions
During the spring, summer, and fall stop down every 1st and 3rd WEDNESDAY for Acoustic Jam Sessions! From 6-9pm enjoy live music, fun, and friendship. All are welcome to play or attend.

Makers Market
Lake Effect Community Art Center hosts the Manistique Makers Market that happens outdoors from 10am to 3pm once a month during the summer! All downtown, right next to our lovely building.
We also host two indoor Market's--Ladies Night, and Small Business Saturday! ​​
