Lake Effect Community Arts Center is proud to present Her Hands, Her Art featuring Carol Irving and Lily Simmons!
Join us Friday, September 4th for an Opening Reception from 5-7pm. View the art, speak with the artists, and grab some refreshments.
The exhibition is available to view September 1st-October 6th on Monday-Saturdays from 11-4pm.

Lake Effect Community Arts Center is proud to present Nature Weave with the talented Carol Irving!
Join us Saturday, September 12th from 1-3pm as Carol teaches us how the basics of weaving. Incorporate your own objects such as shells, bark, buttons, beads, twigs, old jewelry, feathers or use objects that will be supplied.
Cost is $45 per person, and all supplies are included. This class is for beginners.
Makers Market
Lake Effect Community Art Center hosts the Manistique Makers Market that happens outdoors from 10am to 3pm once a month during the summer! All downtown, right next to our lovely building.
We also host two indoor Market's--Ladies Night, and Small Business Saturday!

During the spring and summer stop down every 1st and 3rd WEDNESDAY for Acoustic Jam Sessions! From 6:30-9pm enjoy live music, fun, and friendship. All are welcome to play or attend.
